Yoga Teacher Training Recommendations?
Greetings! I would like to get my yoga teacher training (200-hour) in India this fall, probably some time between October and November. Has anybody had any wonderful experiences at particular ashrams or with particular programs? I'm open to any school of yoga. It would be great if the program was registered with the US Yoga Alliance, but it's okay if not. I'm an intermediate student right now and have been practicing for about 3 years. (The ones I've found so far are the Sivananda program outside of Rishikesh and the Himalaya Yoga Valley program in Goa.)
Any suggestions or words of wisdom welcome! |

I think The Sivananda Centre in Kerala is probably the best place to go to..you could get all the details from Arun Pandala who runs three centres in Gurgaon and arranges the Teachers Trg at the Sivananda Ashrams.email: yogashowstheway@yahoo.com and cell: +919810645850 Hope this helps...... |

 i saw that program and it does look promising...i'll have to check out the location and contact the person you recommend for further details. i know almost nothing about india as of yet... |
