Seeking advaita gurus.
Aside from Ramanashram in tiruvanamalai, can anyone reccomend any good ashrams or teachers anywhere in India for someone of the advaita persuasion?
Have you met any guru that you would like to reccomend? |

I can't recommend an Ashram or Guru, but here's some great Advaita links you may find interesting.

I can't think of any off the top of my head that are still alive.
Though there are a number of western 'philosophers' who are secretly advaita vedantists. Personally I think most of them are a bit kooky and perhaps missed some of the most important aspects of the teaching. Just my opinion, as a reformed AVist. Just as an aside -if you're into it, after reading 'I Am That', I suggest reading the last books of Nisargadatta. You'll see that in his old age he flip-flopped on the issue of whether the body exists in consciousness, or vice versa. It radically changes the standard AV interpretation and is worth some thought. Didn't want to sound too negative, but more or less agree with the above, which is why I didn't mention balsekar in my previous post.
