Sarlo's Guru Rating Service

Why didn't someone do this sooner? A real service to the world. He has managed to pull together poz and neg links and cross-indexed them well, and he has a sense of humour....

thanks for the link, C! I was looking for this site the other day.....

while I can see how some devotees would want to flame this guy, I find his "ratings" of the yogis to be realistic considering that I've met more than a few of those listed. in fact, I am going to send him a few more names for his site!

here's the specific yogi link http://www.globalserve.net/~sarlo/Yyoga.htm#desi

it's not all peace love dove in the yoga world -- yoga wars have been going on for years.....

Wow!

It's like that huge work that was in the library of the Roman Catholic school that I went to which listed every saint. Only different

This guy is good fun.

He's pretty subjective(sailor bob gets three stars and chinmaya gets two?) and pretty exhaustive (who'se nadeen?) but his overwhelming positive is that he links you to the website of every "guru" organization and attempts a broad product classification - advita, middlepath, fringe....and the dirt page

he seems to take himself MUCH more seriously than the "28.7% more credibility" blurb suggests.

(PS: Sirens, he's been around since 1987.)
