Dynamic / Primal Meditation
Dear IMers,
Greetings all... Would like to hear from those who have really been to Osho Commune in Pune (Osho-bashers please stay off!!) and those who have participated in Cathartic meditations there:- Which Cathartic meditation has worked best for you? Are the Mystic Rose and Born-again meditations available in pune Commune? Are there more Meditation Centres in India (which are not as commercialised as Osho Commune Pune, and not managed by Westerners), where one can get facilities for Cathartic meditations as well as the silent meditations (like Vipassana, to follow up on the more noisey meditations). regs, Sam. I've heard of several Osho places in India and Nepal.
There is one in Dheradun, one near Delhi and one in Kathmandu. Plus one in Manali, I think. Google them. Ask them directly concerning these cathartic processes. The Resort I can only limitedly recommend. For the mystuc rose and other thing you mentionned you need to pay some dollars. About 140/d. excluding accomodation... I'd love to hear about your enquiries! |

If you have ever done residential courses with therapists from Pune visiting your country, a course in Pune can never compare with that. All the courses are torn apart with all the activities, and the dynamic of a workshop just does not happen there. Mystic rose and Born-again are originally from Pune, so they certainly should still be offered (not sure though, not been there in a while). |

@atala
When have you last been to the place? Dynamic shut down since decades? Neighbours? Well, they built a huge soundproof Pyramid for those noisier activities. To the contrary Dynamic is still blossoming in Pune and people are going nuts:-) And , Dude, Dynamic is in the evening, Kundalini is in the morning.... |

To All the people who have been replying on this and for all the readers as well:
God is One Yes, we all tend to follow the teachings of someone or the other. We try to meditate, try to follow the style of meditation by our so made Gurus. We try to follow on the teachings and preachings as laid by our Gurus. But that hardly matters. I mean God is just one. Its just that we have different forms of God. I believe in some form of God (Lets say Lord Shiva). Roopeman believes in some other form of God(Lets say Shri Krishna). Phunkeymunkey believes in some other form of God (Lets say Lord Jesus Christ). Does that mean we all have different Gods to worship. The Answer is No. We just try to follow the preachings as laid down by our Gurus who we make ourself. Some of the examples are: Baba Ramdev, Swami Rajneesh (Osho), Asaram ji Bapu... and so on.. Nothing against them or nothing to offend any of their followers and there is due respect for all of them for me. The only thing which we should keep in our mind is: "What can we do ourself to change ourself and to be good. Or rather let me say, to follow the preachings of the one deity... the single Almighty. Since God is ONE". Meditation: Meditation is an art... A technique. which most of us use for some reasons or the other. Some do meditation to releive stress. Some do it as an excercise for their brain and mental fitness. While some like the Sadhus (With a "Nishkaam Bhaava") they meditate to get in touch with god, to get his blessing". I like to meditate. I learnt meditation not from any Guru but myself. I try always to speak with the one. Sometimes I can. sometimes I can't. If you ask me, I would say... There are many Gurus who people follow. Even We(My family) have a Guru who we all follow and taking the name of a Guru is not bad. It's always good. But i follow the one that is the "sadguru" (The God). I don't know if I'm able to express what I want to convey to everyone out here. The only message which I want to put across here is that There is an inner power in all of us. That inner power helps us to control our senses. Getting a control over your senses is just not easy. The most difficult is to control your mind. One would not require to follow anyone's teachings if you follow what god and all his "Avatars" taught. Maybe you can just check here to know what "HIS" teachings were: http://www.shirdi.org.uk/teachings.html One of the Avatars is the Sai Baba of Shirdi. Please have a look at the site and read more as to who he was. What was his motive to exist. What were his teachings. and Last of all.. What did he assure all his disciples. http://www.saibabaofshirdi.net/sai_prom.htm Apologies to get off tangent from the topic what the OP started. Please try to lighten yourself.. one and all. ... Meditate... Pray the lord.. and follow the teachings of our Gurus... One can not always necessarily attain salvation if one only goes to the Guru Sthaan (Place where Guru Exists or Existed). The power is within yourself. Peace be to all. http://www.saibabaofshirdi.net/faq.htm Thanks.

God is One Yes, we all tend to follow the teachings of someone or the other. We try to meditate... I completely agree with you that God is ONE, But named differently. Some call Hm Allah, Some Ishwar, Bhagwan, Parmatma, Krishn, Rama, God and some Sadguru. But He is One, all it takes to accept one name put our faith into. If you read all the holy books from all Relihions, You will find same teachings with minor differences according to the place. And yes, it is proved that if one has 100% then one can know Him or his light through Meditation, Hatha Yoga... But one powerful and the toughest way to know him or to acquire Him is to Love Him. Powerful because, God who is not in Gyani Dhyani's control, comes easily to His Lover, and goes out of the way to help His Devotee and does everything to make His devotee happy, and reality is devotee wants nothing but the Love of God... Toughest because, God doesn't force any to Love Him. He shows you the way but You have to chose which way you want to walk on. In short God does not mess with your Free Will. If gives you options and accordingly you are rewarded. And its not easy to grow that Love for Him, because materiliastic world is so Powerful that Human cant win His Desires on his own. But yes good thing is, If you take the first step, that if you are one of those lucky people, who grow love For Him, then God takes 4 steps towards you. But condition is your Love should be PURE. you should Love Him for Him not for any Materiliastic Desires, Spiritual Recgnition or Fame of being a Saint. You cannot cheat Him even In your thoughts and Unspoken feelings, Because nothing is hidden is from Him. He knows Smallest of second's Dishonesty and greed and you dont have to give Him the proof of you pure Love as before you know He knows and thats the Beauty. Through Meditation it may take a Life Time, or two to know His Truth, but Love vcan brings Him as full to you even in seconds if you are pure. And if He Himself comes to you, then for sure shot, you have learnt all the knowledge, done all the Yoga. That doesn't mean that I am against meditation, everything I expressed is not to disrespect anybody's Thoughts or beliefs. Its what I experienced and still experiencing. Thanx n Regards
