Origins of the Festival of Holi
Origins of the Festival of Holi
Hi there,
I'm researching an article about the origins of the festival of Holi, what the siginifcance of the festival is and whether the current celebrations mirror those of their origins.
What is the significance of the coloured powder, why do people come together in groups to throw powder, and is there more to it than just a joyous celebration?
If anyone knows any good websites or sources of information for this, I would be most grateful.
Thanks,
Monisha
