On the original topic, I do not really believe that you have to go searching for babaji in the himalayas or anywhere for that matter..

If you are ready, you would meet him - be it yorkshire or Ontario it does not matter.

Marshal Govindan has written a book and claims to have met babji. He has teachers in UK, so kk you can look for information there as well.

Ofcourse if you have received a pm from Avid, there is no one around here who has that level of knowledge on these matters as him. I wouldnot be surprised if Avid's knowledge exceeds that of some of their teachers..

Is it this guy? Doesn't look as good as on your avatar...

I vaguely remember a book about (I think) the guy on the pic from the link, and he was complaining about how he went to prison, or something...

The pic in my Avatar is taken from "An Autobiography Of A Yogi" by Swami Yogananda. Yogananda commissioned an artist to draw it from his description of what Babaji looked like when he wrote the book in the '50's.
There have been lots of claims in recent yrs by various people claiming to have found Babaji & lot's of websites claiming to teach on Babaji's instructions. The photo you have posted is Herakhan Babaji. Here's the story
http://www.babaji.net/teachings-interview.htm
http://www.angelweb.info/babaji.shtml
There is much conjecture as to who is & who isn't Babaji.
Only you can decide! KK
