Mahabodhi Temple Bodhgaya - anyone know what is chanted every evening?

It's a long shot and a bit silly, but I've spent hours online searching and maybe an Indiamiker will know?

For a couple of weeks in February this year I hung out at the Mahabodhi temple every evening around 6pm to watch the offering of the robes and listen to the chanting. There would be some Tibetan chanting and what i believe to be some in Pali. The Pali chanting - or perhaps it's actually a particular sutra - was so beautiful & I've suddenly got a bee in my bonnet about tracking down what it was.

BTW I'm not talking about the Homage to the Buddha chant "Buddham Saranam Gacchâmi..." played constantly around the market stalls outside.

I'd be terribly grateful if anyone could shed any light on this for me as it may be quite a while - could be a number of lifetimes - before I'm around that way again

i'm inclined to think that the pali chanting was the metta sutta (the Buddha's discourse on loving-kindness) which I'm sure you can find and listen to online.
