Dalai Lama-speech.

Hi all,
Somewhere via I.M. i read that the Dalai lama would be giving a speech at Dahramsala in March 2007.
I cannot now find the site.
Does anyone know of this speech/date?
and if it would effect the finding of accomodation?

You can find HH teaching schedule here. Expect Dhasa to be crammed.

exactly what i was looking for.
I had a hotel supposedly booked,but the confirmation time had lapsed by two days,and I had to chase them.I cancelled.

Hi Martin, not sure what "class" of hotel you are looking for, but i like to stay at the seven seas in Bhagsu just above Mcleod,it's very clean with large rooms with marble floors & a rooftop restaurant they only charge rs2-300 depending on season,if you are interested P.M. me & i'll send you the managers email address. kullukid wrong place to post this but the avtaar s photo really is an avtaar the eyes have a twinkle in em and the halo also seems prominent read about it but u had also mentioned about HIS Appearance and details 2 some other member on private message can u send the same to me to

Teachings were not so crammed this past year (March 2006); I easily got a room on TIPA Road for 150 Rs. You do need to arrive early, maybe even a few days early with your "marker asana" to get a good seat in the English translation section. (BTW, you cannot see HH from there...but you can see his entrances and exits which will move you to tears).

HH will also be in Sarnath, UP, giving 3 days of teachings from December 19-21 2006.

The holy man discussed is a disciple of Babaji, not Babaji Himself. Before taking his pics, I asked for permission. When KK asked me very very intensely, I just closed my eyes and asked within, and got the "go ahead". The said Holy person is not my own Guru, but venerable nevertheless. I had his darshan without any real effort on my part. I heard about him on a train on 21st Aug and I was very lucky to meet him in person on 1st September... within 11 days flat... even i could not believe it.

A very strong reason for not posting such things over the net is... a lot of negative discussions. Just see the thread titled "gurus dark sides". [at least on IM its quite civilized] After practically devoting an entire lifetime to such study, I can say that even genuine criticism of any person [let alone holy gurus] leads to negative kaarmic backlash. Why criticize someone? Be happy and allow others to be happy. If someone asks me in person, i may add some warning if i feel it necessary ... but never any criticism. Its just not done. Yes, earlier I have been like that, and I too am evolving... criticizing others will not help me grow... in fact retard me somewhat if it becomes a habit.

Just because others are asking for the info, its not mine to give. If KK gives it, he will be breaking his solemn oath.

Pray within. Depending on your intensity, Babaji Himself will appear. I got my own Guru's darshan after extremely intense prayer... i speak from a personal grounding... not some book or internet site.
