4 sure it did, It was the main thing that blew my life off orbit and took me years and years to get it back on some kind of track and then I never let India out of my mind (There were ofcourse reasons that made me go, I wanted a huge change, I was ready for it, and back then I allso wanted to loose myself in to something in a way. to let it all go, make a revolution with myself sort of thing, etc. Some "bad" things took place aswell, but they lead me on to "good" things and so on untill some REAL balance start to take place (If one can say that such a place exist in our state of beeing.)).
Every day for ten years or so there was something of the India expirience in my thoughts and I finnaly got back there ten years later and Searched it more throughly, and it was a different India (in a good way and in a bad way) and it was a different me... And Ive been in india ever since (a part of me recides there on some level), some of me anyhow... And it expresses itself through my way of thought, my music, my apearence and my life I belive... I belive part of me had a thing for ASIA since my birth. Why? Dont really know, Its just one of the coolest places on earth to me. And well the music, the movies, the computergames, the monkey king cartoons, the Aladin sort of fairy tales, the love storys, martiall art, bruce lee the gardens of Japan, the flute and sitar and mantra and yoga of India, the sunset, the palm trees, the beautyfull people and goregeous wimmen and on and on... The incent the chai, the food, the medicine ayuvedic And chinese etc etc. Not to forget the like minded people that you meet, the kind you dont find easy... And FINALLY, the weather! Coming from a cold country I can not think of a better place than a warm one. Every shred of sun that hit me and heat me is like a blessing from the skys!!! Dont forget it! That is a GIFT to be in a warm place! (ofcourse people born in that heat and having to work in it, might have a harder time really appreciateing it! ![]() May all beeings be happy at times, and time again.

I'd say my life had changed before I went to India. But India had fascinated me all my life before making the first trip there last year. Going back in 12 days' time!!! But when I went last October, I'd say it was like 'coming home!' I have felt that all my life I had spent my last, possibly, many lifetimes in India, especially Northern India.
India for me is the most fascinating place in the world simply because it oozes spirituality! You see everything there, life stripped of all pretense, and yes it can be a cruel place to go, but when one ventures up to the foothills of the Himalayas, one sees the awe-inspiring side to this incredible country. If I can afford it, I will retire there ![]() |
