Bahadur Bomjon - The New Buddha
I came across this YouTube footage earler this week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XetexuNHdmo
It reminded me of a news item I saw on BBC television earlier this year about Ram Bahadur Bomjon. People were infatutaed by this young man and proclaiming he was the new Buddha, the Buddha Maitreya!!!! Wait a minute.... study the YouTube video. This guy has supposedly been meditating under that same tree for months on end since December 2005. Observation. His hair is long - not that straggly - and yet he's clean-shaven!!!  Methinks a very well-worked scam on the go here..... |
