| Ashtanga in Mysore - 3 weeks Hi, I am a first-timer to India, looking to spend 3 weeks in Mysore and area beginning in July. Originally I had wanted to study with Sri. Patthabi Jois because my trip was going to be longer, but now that it is only 3 weeks, I'm not sure if that will work anymore. I've looked around on the Net for some good teachers in the area, but the only person that seems to take 'drop-ins' is Shesadri..and I'm concerned that his adjustments might not work with me. Are there any other highly recommended Ashtanga teachers in the area who would permit me to come for 2 1/2 - 3 weeks? I am very interested in the Patanjala shala with BNS Iyengar but I haven't been able to find any information on it. Alternatively, is there another place in India (that won't be too bad during the monsoon) where I could study Ashtanga for that length of time? |

| I think you got his name wrong.. its B.K.S Iyengar and not BNS.. He has a website along with his schools which you can find here http://www.bksiyengar.com/
