any suggestions for Holi
My daughters (ages 8, 13, and 15) and I will be in India for Holi in March.
We'll be staying in Delhi that part of our trip...but I was considering spending Holi in Mathura rather than in Delhi. Any suggestions of what to wear, what to do, where to go, what to buy the days before for the celebration..where to buy that...the dyes etc....we want to join in and enjoy Holi, not avoid it, we are excited to be apart of it...but ya know don't want to get into any howdy drunk crowds. Blessings, Ginger |

Did I stump everyone?
All my other question posts have gotten umpteen replies right away...is this a hard question or is the 'Religions' threads just not as trafficked an area here on the forum? Blessings, Ginger |

Hello Ginger,
The following thread has an interesting discussion about places to spend Holi: Best smallish city for Holi and also you can look for other similar threads at the very bottom of that one by scrolling right down to the end of the page.

The Empress is traveling with 3 children. I suppose you can get this drink without the bhang. Sounds delicious (without the bhang).

Thandai is a great refreshing and cooling drink in the summer months - almonds and melon seeds are some of the ingredients. Bhang is not a compulsory additive to the beverage.
