2 girls, 1wheelchair, 1 dream

Hello,
me and my friend would like to travel to haritwar or rishikesh. we would love to live in an ashram for 2 or 3 weeks and practice some yoga and do some meditations and feel the spirit. my very best friend sits in wheelchair for more than 4 years now and practicing yoga helps her body and mind a lot. so maybe anybody could help us. We know that india is not very wheelchair friendly

but is there an ashram you know who does not have too many steps and some helping hands? thanx for your answer.

I hope you know the Kumbh Mela will be on early next year for several months, so everything may be overflowing with pilgrims!

Yes when? As Shivani pointed out Kumbh is on from end January. If it were later in the Spring, then you could also move up the valley to Uttrakshi and towards Gangotri, side by Taxi.
