Anyone from IM going to the Himalayan Sandakphu - Gurdum Trekking Expedition - Nov - Dec 2012 (Winter) organised by Youth Hostel Association of India?

Here's the schedule

SCHEDULE
Day 1 : Reporting at Base Camp, Darjeeling (2134 Mt.).
Day 2 : Acclimatisation and Orientation.

thanks... i read that... seems like all seats vacant as now
BTW do you have any previous experience of trekking with yhai?

I personally do not have any with YHAI, but I have friends who have done few trekking expeditions with YHAI including Sandakphu- Gurdum.

Yes, the feedback are excellent. As per my friends, the quality/ services etc. as provided by the YHAI is excellent especially comparing to the price they charge.

I will definitely share my experience once I have it.

Rs4000 from base camp to base camp (Darjeeling to Darjeeling) including accommodation, veg food, guide, entry fees, insurance etc.

that sounds encouraging... yea price is indeed a steal comparing today's travel expenses! i'm going for shimla-manali-agra trip in first week of sep, then by the middle of september after i return from my trip and get to know my 'to-do' list of backlogs i'll book this if it's vacant till then... lemme try my luck
