Staying at Jayanti

Satyen,

You can stay at Rajabhatkhawa. For that you can check availibility at WBFDC cottages. Check - www.wbfdc.com

To stay at CESC Guest House - you have to have a contact with any CESC Officials - who can book a room for you. It is damn cheap.

For PHE Bunglow : Public Health Engineering (PHE) Club Road, P.O. Jalpaiguri West Bengal, India ( Tel : 91-3561-30659) For Rajabhatkhaoa, Raimatang Forest Bungalow : Deputy Field Director Buxa Tiger Reserve (West) P.O. Alipurduar Dist. Jalpaiguri West Bengal, India ( Tel : 91-3564-55129 )

Apart from this you can contact Biswapriya (9434010497) - who can help you to find some accomodation at Buxa.

Well - Please let me know your primary interest? According to that i can suggest your itinerary.

Thanks,

Amit

Well Amit has mentioned some detailed information.
The forest rest house at Jayanti is exquisite but it is difficult to book. You have to write to the DFO's office at Alipurduar.
Here is my trip report of Jayanti. Hope you like it. Did not go to Buxa But the Buxa fort is not in a good condition I think.
Thanks,
Deep

Try your best to stay at Jayanti. It is a beautiful place, right next to the river surrounded by thick dense forest.

If you have to stay at Rajabhatkhawa and If you can't find accommodation in any of the above, you can contact Mr. T. S. Thapa at 94346-30954, a very senior elderly gentleman who runs a nice little guest house very close to the RajabhatKhawa railway station. I stayed there two years ago, one of the cleanest lodges I have ever spent a night in.
Two roads diverged in a wood and I I took the one less traveled by.

If you want your forest visit to be more exotic you can try out Chilapata forest near Alipurduar.
