Hi Friends,

Recently I am planning for a one day Trip just before visiting Garpanchakot ... and I find this place after searching alot in Internet

The details for the place is below :

Murguma is 43km from Purulia Station and 25km from Muri Station. To visit this place the best option is to take up a package tour of Aranyak Eco-Camping Retreat. They provide both ways conveyance from Purulia/Muri Station to Murguma.

Their websites are : http://ecoresort.in

My question is :

1) Have anyone visited this place before ?

if yes, how are the Arrangements of this Package provided by the Aranyak Eco-Camping Retreat ?

I have heard there is a similar project like this named 'Aranya Sundari' ... which one is better ?

2) Is this place worth a visit as a stop-over before moving to Garpanchakot ?

3) How long will it take to go to Garpanchakot Forest Bunglow from here by Road ? Is there any worth-seeing places on the way ?

4) How safe is the place in the recent situation of Maoist activities in Purulia ?

waiting for all your feedback ...

Dear Suvadeep
Yes, one article was published in "The Telegraph" long back regarding this resort at Murugma. Based on that, twice I had planned to book it for my holidays, but both the time it was full for the required dates.
And the WAY it was conveyed to me during my last call, i had decided not to contact them again.
If you visit this place, please inform the details.

It was Aranyak Eco Camp.
I am searching the peice of that paper, which i had cut and kept for future reference.
Two local numbers of Calcutta were given on that.
And the WAY which i referred was - It was conveyed in very rude manner that they are full and he was of opinion why all "people" contact them only for big holidays like puja, christmas or holi etc. Why cant we go there during other days?.
