Hi,

I want to have more info on china town, tangra in kolkata.

How to go there from esplanade? how long it will take?

idea of good (budget ) restaurants?

hi,
From esplanade take a bus or taxi through Park circus and move ahead towards Science City.Some 1km before Science City take a left turn i.e u enter to China Town.

There are many resturants up there and all serve good chinese cuisine.
U may try Golden Empire, Big Boss. etc

the best Chinese restaurant in Tangra (and in Calcutta) is Big Boss!

Kimlin is one of the oldest ones. (The same owner has Beijing at the entrance of China Town and Tung Fung on Park Street.) Hot Yok is also good.

Beijing is slightly expensive than other. You can try at Big Boss , Kimling or Kafulok
