Sunderbans in August

Do you think is a very bad idea to stay there three days in August??????

I'll be traveling in August with my son to Assam and in my way I would like to spend some days in the Sunderbans. Unfortunately is in August, most probably not the best moment to travel.

Tha nks

Question

Hi Jorge,
So far I can remember Jun - Aug is not a suitable time for Sundarbans (I came to know about this during my trip to Sundarbans). May be I am wrong but plz check once again, Jorge.

Hi Somnath,

You are right about the weather at the Sunderbans in August, I was trying to convince myself about traveling there during next August because oddly enough, in the web page of the West Bengal Tourist etc, is written: " Monsoon holds its own magic..."

Thanks for the links, I saw on TV here in Spain the pregnant tigress and I must point out that villagers were probably more "wild animals" than the poor and lost pregnant tigress.
