friends,

how can i make a trip to sundarbans? iam planing to visit sundarbans in december. how can i book hotels and MV CHitrarekha? any one please help.
is online booking facility available?

The west bengal tourism conducts package tours to sunderbans during dec-feb every year. you can either go in for the package tour which is quite decent enough or you can make your own arrangements. WB Tourism has their own hotel in Sajnekhali. There are some other private hotels also available. regarding booking of vessel, I am not quite sure if you will be able to book them online or not. what i have seen is spot booking.

I booked a trip to the Sunderbans with West Bengal Tourism this past January. I had to book the trip in person at their office. I do not the know if the policy has changed. You can call them at 03322488271 to see. We opted for an overnight tour on the boat and loved it.

Not only through the Govt. agencies, you can go with some private players also depending upon your budget, time U have & How many of U.
If U can have local contact U can visit some part of Sunderban by line boat but it is not so advisable.
