For Sundarbans try to go for the conducted tour by West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation. http://app.westbengaltourism.gov.in/...c_package.html
Two roads diverged in a wood and I I took the one less traveled by.

Regarding Sunderban, you can try the Sunderban Tiger Camp. The official website is - http://www.sunderbantigercamp.com/

Its good and the most important thing is that, you can do the online booking also (http://www.sunderbantigercamp.com/online_booking.php). The Bus starts from Priya Cinema, Deshapriya park in thee early morning.

Bakhali - I didn't like it much, so would not suggest. Better you can go to Mandarmani or New Digha.

well between sundarban and bakkhali obviously sundarban!u can go to any sea side at any time of the year..but u can't go to mangroves quite that often, its something new..tidal rivers, lush islands and the vast expanse of water...if u go, go on a conducted tour, other than the one offered by West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation, there are many many local tour operators who offer good services.but may be WBTDC's one is more authentic.these tours will surely cover the pakhiralay at sajnekhali, dobanki..and several such places.if u r lucky u can also get a glimpse of the royal bengal tiger!

as for bakkhali there is only one tourist lodge run by WBTDC which is near the sea shore.(as far as my knowlege goes!) by the sea.i think u have to book earlier if u want to avoid very high prices!the sea is very gentle and the beach is vast..but it can be covered within two days and one night trip..so i suggest sunderban
