Suggestions needed on the itinerary

So we have planned to tour west bengal and sikkim in dec-jan . Here is the approx plans, but any suggestions would be of great help
26th Dec- Fly from Mumbai to Kolkata reaching the city around 9 am
take a prepaid taxi to my hotel, Bodhi Tree,or is travelling via metro suggested?
26-27th kolkata , I will be following my travelers guide to go around places

27th night booked tickets for Darjeeling Mail to reach NJP next morning.

28th Morn- Hire a cab from NJP to Darjeeling , What are the normal rates for both shared jeeps as well as private cabs ??

28,29,30- In darjeeling , stay confirmed at Shangri-la Regency. Luckily we got the Attic room

31-morning take a cab to Gangtok. Again wat is the estimated cost for the cab?

We are planning to go visit Nathula Pass and Tsomgo Lake. Any idea about how much the agents charge, would be of great help.
Also how about Yumthang valley? how to go about booking our cab ? and permits?

So 31,1,2,3 gangtok and yumthang

4th noon cab back to NJP, then via darjeeling mail overnight to kolkata and early morning flight back from kolkata to Mumbai.
Anything I m missing? or not being chalked out? Please help

It looks good - except perhaps for the time of year. Nathu La would be freezing cold and perhaps inaccessible because of snow.

The average daily high and low for Darjeeling in Jan is 8C for high and 2C for low. Interestingly I thought of going to Darjeeling in Jan. - fly into Kolkata and take the train the same night to NJP. But it is a family reunion in Bandra and I do not know what my siblings will want to do. I will be returning to Bandra in July August
