Need advice for 5 days trip in north Bengal

I have 5 days in hand in the 3rd week of Jan...Thought about Gurdongmer & Dooars...

how feasible Gurdongmer will be at that time ...if not possible then suggest me some other place in north bengal can be done that time....

One thing that please suggest places with a bit adventure or trekking & raw mother nature involved...

Check on the Gurudinger route - as my knowledge goes, the route, being mostly above snow line, remains full of snow that time. I travelled in third week of March - even that time also there was some snow on the way. Best option will be to ask knowledgable tour operators, like HELP Toursim, Siliguri for correct info.

Dooars in Jan will be no problem, provided you book much ahead. Now, with exodus of tourists in that area, rooms have become very diffucult to get. Week before last, I tried to book Lepchajagat bunglow suite for an early December trip - but the place was fully booked barring a ground floor room.
