Question Dooars current situation ?

Hi,
We are planning to go to Nimati, Chilapata, Raimatang and Jayanti in Dooars from 25th to 31st December'2008. We shall stay in these places. We shall go by train from Delhi. But I am hearing news report about a possible strike in Dooars from 22nd Dec. Does anyone know what is the current situation there? Is there a chance of rail blockage too? What will be your suggestion to go to these places at these time?
- thanks,
smnray

Our travel agent told us to cancel/postpone the trip. We are doing the same.

We had to postpone, because we have already paid the money. Then due to some personal emergency, I am going to Kolkata!
