Hi

You can stay at Rose Valley. It is a bit costly though. Per night charges is Rs. 3000/-. But the location is excellent.

you can also check here for other hotels

Staying in a bit costlier hotel will ensure that you get their generator service for 24 hrs. The cheaper ones will provide you electricity for only 4-5 hrs in the evening.

You can also take a look at http://www.hoteldreamlandgroup.com/. This is slightly cheaper and claims all their rooms are sea-facing with separate balconies. The Non-AC rooms don't have running hot water.
People who have been to this hotel did recommend this for the view.
However, I've heard that they switch off the generator for a few hours in the afternoon or early evening (dusk). Shouldn't matter much during winter, still better check that out before booking.
