a. NJP to Darjeeling
b. Darjeeling to Kalimpong
c. Kalimpong to Lava(2nts) to Rishop( 1nt) back to Kalimpong
d. Kalimpong- NJP

Since we will be traveling with a kid would like to go for private vehicle instead of shared. Do you think it shall be too expensive to hire the car for 3nts from Kalimpong?

Can any one tell me the car rent (for 2 person) from
1. Siliguri to Lollegaon
2. Lollegaon to Lava
3. Lave to Rishap

if i hire a guide cup porter from lava to Rishap, how much he will charge?

Finally I could successfully complete my planned trip. Thanks to DJ and Satyabrata for their valuable suggestions. I'll try to write up a small travelogue on the trip. But for now, I'll try to answer 'laskar''s questions. See my comments in blue:

Thanks a lot Neil. The rate chart is very helpful. But need a little clarification.Is the rate of vehicle from Kalimpong- Lava 1700-1800? Or is it the 3nts rate that you have quoted?
How many nights did you stay in Rishop? Is it really very beautiful?
Pls upload some pic and a detail tour so that I can get some idea for my trip.

Just I have completed a tour of Kalimpong-Lava-Lolegaon-Rishop on 22nd May
Here is some information for the friends who wiil plan a trip for this destinations.
1)Canopy walk at Lolegaon has been repaired & tourists can enjoy this upto 5 PM every day.Ticket is Rs 10/- per person.
2)Forest Cottage complex at Lolegaon is totally destroyed and no repairing work has been started till now & the entire complex ia abandoned
3)There is Bus service from Kalimpong at 8 AM which go first Lava(reaches at 10AM around) and then Lolegaon(Reaches at 11.30 AM).The said bus is departed fron Lolegaon at 12.30 Pm(the one & only bus service from Lolegaon). From Lava there are 2 additional bus service for Kalimpong at 7.30 AM & 8.30 AM
4)There is no sharing vehicle system at Lolegaon & Rishop. Total vehicle operation is under a syndicate & there is no chance for bargaining. Only at Lava a few service jeep is available for Kalimpong which can be used as sharing travel.
5)There is a severe water crisis at Rishop in all the Hotel & uncleaned Rainwater is supplied at room. As well as a electricity problem is very common at Rishop.
6)Road condition from Lava to Lolegaon is very very bad, vehicle can go only about 20 KM/hour but road from Kalimpong to Lava is good.

Thanks a lot for all the info. But if the WBFDC cottages are destroyed in Lolegaon what are the other option for stay there? If you can provide the contact for any other hotel in Lolegaon that will be very useful.

@Jhinuk77 - In fact what we popularly know as Lolegaon is Kaffer Lolegaon, there is Charkhole Lolegaon too (12 kms from Kaffer Lolegaon) which is not that crowdy, but there is lack of accommodation there, only two hotels and a few home stay. b. Lovely resort

As I shall travel with a 2 1/2 yr kid I need to book a hotel which is clean by standard and serve good food. Travel is in Oct.
