Location wise the best resort is Lake Hill Resort. It's a two storied building just in front of lake. Infact no other resort can give you view of lake from room/balcony as all are away from lake, but in walkable distance. (I am not stayed there).

Akashmani is just behind LakeHill Resort and a old suburban type big house but in good condition.

Mahunban is in opposite side of dam and nothing around it.

Nature Study Hut is good looks good with few minutes walkable distance and have children play area&equipment.

Palashbari atmosphere is very good but it is in the farthest from the lake. Sorround with lots of palash tree.

Ankhaibari is the posh one with good cottage rooms around a big open space. I don't like it as it's good only for winter days. The tariff is also the highest in the region. Looks the lake partially at distance.

I stayed in Mon-Polash. 3 basic rooms with western clean toilet for a cheap amount. No AC rooms. Foods are simple but tasty. Stayed in Jan-17. Went via Asansole from Kolkata by own car.

I think @anwesha once mentioned that Palashbari was not an good experience for her.

For those who don't know me, a basic clean accommodation with clean washrooms is fine for us. Ofcourse good food would be a plus point.
If not already back from Boronti, You may try Lake Hill Resort. Price are moderate, and food is good [one of my friend stayed there].

Arup Da, How are you doing? BTW one off topic question, how can I get rid of this new theme? Old theme was much better. There are lots of issues with this new theme.

Type www.indiamike.com/v1. As of now you should not be getting the new version since it has been put on hold.

Yes I'm finally able to go back to the Original site.

BTW I think they have reverted back the changes and clearing your cache on main URL too opens up new theme
