BAGORA: A Gem in Wilderness (with a slice of Dooars) Hi everybody! To night we are off to Hasimara for a week long trip to Jaldapara and Bagora, a little known (but known to many of IMers!)off-the-beaten-track location Bagora, close to Kurseong. Jaldapara, I know. In fact, I had visited once in past, but Bagora...?? Totally unknown (to me), staying at Forest Bungalow, remoteness, bird watching, cut off from the mainstream town...oh, I'm so excited!! Guys, I will be back to this thread with a story and a few snaps, Till then, bye!! |
Waiting for your trip report Asish Da |
Would love to hear your experience at Bagora & Jaldapara. Ronak. |
I'm in waiting list too |
soumiksett, shahronakm & PKanti! Thanks guys. I have come back from the trip and started writing my trip report. I am also scanning the loads of photographs that I had taken during the trip. I hope to post the report along with suitable pics soon. Thanks again. |
Welcome back, sir! Would love to know more about the place and see some photos. |
Thanks Sagar. Give me 2-3 days more. I intend to divide my report in 3 parts. First Part would deal Dooars part, the 2nd would deal Bagora & Kurseong and the last part (3rd) would contain the cost and other miscellaneous aspects. Besides, I would post a few photographs to match the report. By the way, can you please guide me as to how I can write caption separately for each of the photograph posted along with my report? Thanks again. |

Regarding writing captions separately with photographs, you can follow these steps: 1. First upload the photos you want to attach in any image sharing website (like flickr, picasa or even your member gallery in IM. I prefer my IM member gallery since I don't have flickr or Picasa accounts.) 2. Click on the Post reply tab and write the description/ caption of the photo. 3. After writing the caption, click on the 'Insert Image' icon (the small square box with a montain drawn on it.). This opens a pop-up window whch prompts you to enter the URL of the image. 4. Copy the URL of the image you want to share (you can get the URL of the image by clicking on 'properties' of the image) and paste it in the pop-up window which prompts you to enter the URL. This will allow you to write sepearate captions for your images. I hope I could explain it, please feel free to seek further clarifications if you face a problem. |
Ashis Da, I already had seen those images that you uploaded to the IM gallery. i already visited Dooars two time, but did not get chance for elephant safari. Waiting for your awesome trip report. |
Thanks soutom! I'm trying to upload my trip report (1st part) by tomorrow. Yes, I have created an Album and uploaded a bunch of photographs pertaining to Dooars visit and I intend to link these photographs with my report. I tried to follow the advise given by Sagar, a fellow IMers. But I'm a bit hesitant and apologetic about my photographic skill. I just use Point and Shoot type of Camera and the quality of my photographs is rather poor as compared to others, notably, Sagarneel etc. Please excuse me if you find my photo quality is of below standard. |
