Volunteering in Rajasthan

Hi,

I'm going to India at the start of Feb for a month (or 2) and I'm looking to stay mostly in Rajasthan and Delhi.
Whilst here i'd like to do some voluntary work with children however most of the sites i've looked at regarding this are very expensive. I just wondered if anybody knew of any cheaper organisations that could help?

Hi,

Check out www.aimabroad.org They may have some good places to go near Delhi. (maybe even rajasthan, but i dont know) It is a "one man army" and you can enyoj some homestays and home-foods also ... while not asking so much as e.g. globalcrossroads. Reply if this was helpful.

from my point of view you look at rishikesh in india it here you found much better accommodation in cheap rates for your vol entree perpose

Have you found somewhere yet, rainmonkey? Friends of mine told me of an organisation in Jaipur called Ladli - it's for young girls and teaching them skills so they can earn money through handicraft works. Maybe a possibility there - I will do a google and see if they have a website - I had a brochure about it but just can't seem to locate it!http://www.ladli.org/HELP%20VOLUNTEER.htm - yes found it.
