Volunteering in Rajasthan

Hi,

I'm looking for a place where I could volunteer in Rajasthan, preferably in Jaipur. I would like to work in the child or health sector. I only have one month to offer.
Is there any place you could recommend me? or any information you could give me?

I'm pretty sure we've had people volunteering in or around there with what sounded to be interesting and worthwhile outfits, thing is I can't find it for you now using some obvious search strings, but maybe you can dig around some more. Start with the site's Jaipur sub-forum, or the Volunteering one you're in. & Good luck.

ps I may have been confused with Jodhpur, so dig through the Rajasthan forum while you're at it.

hi i am irene from italy, actually travellng in india. i was thinking to stop in delhi or rajastan (i found on the web something in udaipur and jaipur...i should go and see...if u want keep in touch by mail we ll find out something!

This is a place I visited in Jaipur last year that works with street children : http://www.ladli.org/

It had a really nice atmosphere, and would probably welcome volunteers.
