Volunteer with exchange of food and accommodation

I'm looking for some teaching english or any kind of volunteer work, in exchange of food , accomodation and cover of basic expenses, as I cant afford to pay to do volunteer work.
Anyone could suggest anything??? Any institution perhaps???
Would prefer to work w children or with people in need.
Preferably in Goa, Mysore, Pune , Chennai or Rishikesh .

Hi paula,

this is a great idea but I would also just say to prepare yourself if the worse happens - like it did to me. I had it all arranged with the free accommodation and food but it didn't turn out the way I expected so I left. I am now having to pay for such expenses which is ok as I have had people help me out but I am just letting you know to be prepared in case it's not what you expect and you may want to move on. Make sure you bring enough money in case you are caught in this situation :-)
