Volunteer for HIV/Aids program in India
Hey,
So I have spent my last two summers in India and ended up falling in love with the country, and it's people. I'm currently teaching in Indonesia and also volunteering for a charity that work with children with HIV/Aids, and also a street children charity. I am planning on retuning to India after my contract ends in August-a long way off now I know. But, I ideally would love to work as an NGO for a charity in India that sepcialised in HIV/Aids, or a women's based project.
Does anyone know of any charities in India that are involved with any of these projects???
Also was toying with the idea of volunteering in Mcleod Ganj as have some good friends there too, but was not sure if there were any women's based charities there?

I believe the Freedom Foundation, in Bangalore, works with HIV patients and addicts.
