I will soon fly to India as an international student and I was thinking of volunteering for them.

Anybody here who has volunteered for Save the Children - India? What were your experiences with the organization? Most of their projects have something to do with education but do they also provide psychological help for abused children?

I've tried caring for children at school and at our locality. But I'm not from India.At school we have this outreach, on one of the subject, and we are to think of ways like entertaining these kids through programs and activities. Actually, it was some sort of adopting a community, usually those which are on poor community. I can say that it's fun for we get to share things like happiness aside from giving them gifts.

And in our locality, I am an SK- a group of teenagers set up to help, by promoting teens wellness, and through games and activities too. We tend to let every teens to participate for them to avoid those bad vices. And it really help,, for it's another recreation for them. Even on that experiences, i was fulfilled for I get to help them, in my own little way.
