New website online: Duniya
New website online: Duniya
Finally, our new website is online: Duniya Foundation (the merger of Nagwa foundation and Intazaar foundation).
We have an English translation as well.
In the coming few weeks and months, we will regularly renew our photographs and news, as well as add new articles to our webshop (non-profit).

A wonderful website and what fantastic work the foundation does.
I'm planning to be in India for at least a couple of months in the Autumn (probably Oct/Nov) and I'm just wondering if you need any volunteers to help out?

Thanks!
Mercedes10, we try to engage as many Indians as possible, both as employees (we have 6 people working for a salary) and as volunteers. We try not to work with foreign volunteers so much, because we would really like to stimulate this being an Indian project (with our help in the form of funding). We are now involved because so many things have to be set up, but we want to be out of the picture as soon as the local people can manage the project. That's why we don't say 'yes' to foreign volunteers, which I really hope you will understand. I am a foreigner, but I want myself to be 'away' also, as soon as we feel they are ready to take care. By that time, I will support the project financially - if needed - but have an all Indian staff.
