Need some Guidance

Hi everyone! A co-worker told me about this website.
So let me tell you a little about myself. I am 28 and live in Jersey City, NJ USA. I live with my chocolate lab Olivia who is only 15 months old.

I have had some serious revelations within the past couple of months. One of them is that I have a calling to help children & women less fortunate. Since my ancestors are from India, why not help there. (My father is Trinidad & Tobago but his grand-parents were from India).

I love everything about India-the food, clothes, language, MUSIC and MOVIES. Who doesn't love Hritik Roshan. ha!

But in all actuality, my goal is to lead a new life helping others.

I have never volunteered abroad and this will be my first experience. I would really like some help, suggestions on how I get started.
