For Members having facebook account, it is a very simple process.
Click on the green button Vote Now...
A Pop screen appears with options sign up or login and vote now...
click on login....a screen appears where you choose //connect via facebook//
click on that...allow the application to run on facebook...and its done...
You will get a response voted.

For others,
click on the green button //vote now//
choose the sign up option
it needs only your name and email id..
check your mailbox for a response link from sparktherise..
click on it and that should do it....

The process takes less than 2min and it ensures voting is fair and legit.
Thank you all...every additional vote brings us closer to winning the much needed grant.Help us in a greener tomorrow.

There are no fees for joining up....If you are on a holiday or a spiritual visit to Dharamsala and would like to volunteer...do call upon us..we welcome your efforts.
Safe Travels

Nothing against MC, but it baffles me how people vote for something they have no experience about. In any case, I think the project does not fit in within the framework of sparktherise.

Dear Jitu

I value your feedback and your inputs on India Mike have been valuable for fellow travelers.
My personal experience with MC has been great..more so because it was started by a foreigner trying to make a positive change.
Ms. Jodie Underhill, the founder was awarded a 'Green Hero' award for her efforts by the Himachal Government. This has not been a easy effort - it has been a long journey and it feels nice to be recognized.
Do check this out -

I would like you to do a random google search on jodie underhill and mountain cleaners and check out the results.

This forum is all about travel & having a clean and green environment is what makes a pleasant change..after all nobody wants to visit a place which is filthy.

MC has taken humble steps in trying to interact with the locals/shop establishments/visitors towards focusing on a clean and green environment..and this is why the project got accepted in 'spark the rise' in the first place.

I hope this will ease your doubts and questions.. We need more of these all across the country to bring out the change - a cleaner and greener India.

Please don't get me wrong ashok, it is just that I feel such voting by non players is ultimately the undoing of any good cause. I don't doubt your or MC's noble intentions

Oh, and thanks for mentioning my inputs as valuable, it enhances my conviction that sometimes even crap gains value

I, for one, did visit and go through their website and appreciated the cause and work done by these people and hence voted for them. One doesn't need experience to appreciate good work done by an organisation. I have no experience whatsoever of Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity and many other organisations but I know that they do good work and hence support them.
