Looking for an english Cram school to exchange "Parcel of English"
My class in Taiwan prepared a package to send to India with some things they have written. I am trying to find a cram school to send the package to that will hopefully make their own package to send to us.
Thanks. |

hey Ron,
welcome to indiaworld!! Not sure exactly what you mean, do you mean like an india buxiban (pinyin)?? Indu mayo! Nothing like that in india in the taiwanese cram school sense. maybe you could try and go thru a NGO or a Volunteer organization. Really? I figured there would be lots of English bushibans in India. My students decided to send their package to India, but maybe I should look elsewhere. Do you know another country with loads of English cram schools?
Thanks. |

What is a bushiban? Pinyin? Cram school?
Please educate us.

Pinyin is a romanized system for Chinese words. Cram schools and bushibans are private schools that children go to after their traditional schools to get extra instruction. Most teach foreign languages, maths or sciences. Many have basic "homework" classes where teachers oversee the children finishing their homework.
I personally won't make my son go to a cram school unless he really needs extra help and I am unable to assist him. Kids in these countries don't have enough free time. Being at school for 12 hours a day is too much, especially for the first to fifth graders. They only have time for physical activities on the weekends as well. Not a good model to promote basic health either. I feel sorry for them. |
