The Indien-Austrian Cultural Organisation invites all IM members to attend the 2nd Anniversary, of our Organisation on the 8th June 2006 , 20.00h at Kölpinghaus, Viktor Franz Hess Str 7, Innsbruck. Indische Live Music with Somabanti Basu - Sarod and Suman Sarkar - Tabla

All expenses paid? (i.e flights and food and accomm etc)

Well, I would not mind going on my own even if just the Austrian visa was arranged for me!!!

Now thats a real problem getting a Visa, thru the Austrian Authorities at the moment.....with all the Visa scandel in Afrika and the Eastern block. But if you wanna be my guest at any time aadil, you are welcome.
I head this organisation, which is more social work, What i also forgot to mention was that, I will be cooking too, all the profits that we get on this day goes to one Girl in junaghad who is deformed, she has been operated once to get her fingers seperated, but needs alot of correction on her face, this is the reason too, for all the functions that we organise here.

Great to hear about the good work you are doing this for and hope it will be a huge success. I have a friend in Vienna who is also keen to see me there so I was just wondering why the visa process is so lousy for anyone coming there!!! Too many formalities, letters and certificates from the notary, etc required just to get a simple visa to enter the country for a few days!!! How I wish there was no visas required for entry into any country as long as you stayed there for a minimum period only and did not overstay there. Thanks for your warm welcome and if I ever get the chance to get there then sure will meet up for a coffee in your hometown too.

Hi Indira,

Kudos to you for the social work you are doing.
Wish i could attend but not until October when i plan to be in Austria.

I suppose same schengen visa is applicable to Austria. I don't think it is difficut to get. Alternatively, you can send an invitation letter(of indian-Austrian cultural organisation letter head)to those who wish to attend in which case it should not be difficult to get a s/visa.

No Dan I am not from Andhra Pradesh, My dad hailed from Gujarat and my mom from Goa....I am married to an Austrian and have 3 kids. I have sent you a private message with my telephone numbers.
