Environmental volunteering in North East
From April onwards I intend travelling around the North East for a duration of one year. But I want to get a feel of the place and not just see it as a tourist, hence want to work on environmental/ sustainable development based projects (NGO) so that I can understand the people in a better manner.
I have already found opportunities in North Sikkim and Arunachal, but am looking out for some NGOs in Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya. Would really appreciate if anybody knows of any NGOs working on such projects or could guide me towards the same. cheers Piran |
