If you're looking for NGOs to support in/around Delhi check out www.acommongood.org - there are only two listed right now, but more will be added soon. Eileen (the creator of this sight)is a great woman and I've given to a few local NGOs through her. If you know of any other small charities around Delhi she should look into I'd be happy to hear about them.
