And if your find something your like better in another shop: buy that too!

Thanks for the clarification on so-called 'govt. approved'. I never understood that one before. Somehow I never yet got around to co-optex, but I love Khadigram. Some of their places are not so good, but the big sort-of-round-the-corner Mounts Road shop is a treasure cave!

I think the real government institutions are marked by the absence of the heavy sell. You can find some very well-informed staff, if you enquire about something, but mostly they aren't bothered whether you buy or not, and leave you alone to browse happily.
