I really appreciate that you took time to read this thread. Yes, Varanasi is worth a visit for anybody coming to India.

In between, hope there was not any major fault with D5100..and hope you got a timely refund for your cancelled Kingfisher airticket.

So nice pictures Photofreak!!!

All are equally good. Baranasi is always 'one of the photographer's dream destinations' and your efforts gave brilliant results.

Just came back from our trip to India and we also visited Varanasi. It's a very interesting place and unlike anywhere I've ever been. Thanks for sharing your photo's with us.
