Sarnath: 10 kms from Varanasi is the site where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon.
Vindhyachal: 80 kms from Varanasi one of the Shakitipeeths, Vindhyavasini Devi Temple, Ashtabhuja and Kalikhoh are the major attraction
The Chunar fort 40 kms from Varanasi.
Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary: 70 kms Varanasi nestle within them the Rajdari and Devdari waterfalls. A beautiful secluded place for a relaxed outing. or a picnic.

Vindhyavasini, Ashtabhuji & Kalikhoh form a triangle...and a triange is very potent symbol in Tantra......

Do visit these places.....

Sarnath is now a suburb of Varanasi.......it has many pagodas and monasteries...

Vinyavasini is away from the Varanasi-Allahabad route. Are any of the other two on the route. It will help my trip on 1st May.Thanks in advance

No ! All 3 of them are in Vindhyachal....they are in vicinity...
