Varanasi from Chennai

CAn anyone suggest the best way to get to Varanasi from Chennai? There don't seem to be any direct flights.

You can take a train, or fly to Kolkata, and then a train, or another flight.

I have done the trip a couple of time.Jet Airways flies to Varanasi from Delhi.Take the early morning flight from Chennai of Jat Airways around 6-45 AM that connects to their flight from Delhi to Varanasi with an hour or so.The apex fares are attractive
