The Uma can be a bit tricky to find, but its worth it.....

From the main alley: Take Lahori Tola towards Meer Ghat, head, instead of to the ghat, to the SOUTH INDIA TEMPLE, everyone will know this. From there ask for the UMA GUEST HOUSE.

From the Golden Temple: Cross the main ally, pass under a small arch, with a mini temple inside.... Walk down about 100yds, then at the cross in the paths, turn RIGHT, the Uma is about 50 yds on the Left, after a small shop.

From Meer Ghat: Walk up the steps, at the top, past the cool looking tree you get to a T junction, this is Lahori Tola, walk straight down, past the SOUTH INDIA TEMPLE, and then on to the <<< UMA >>>...

Soaking up the masalla in Varanasi, and relaxing at the splendid UMA guest House.. (plug)

A few days ago varanasi was almost flooded out buy monsoon stylee rains and bomb sized hail stones......

India still get more bizarre by the day... Guess what, you now have to get a Doctor to write you a prescription if you want Valium......

That's new... in December I was able to buy Valium (er, and the Indian version of Viagra, Caverta - not that I need it!) quite freely in Kerala and Mumbai

Maybe you just need to shop around?

no it was for this alan b he wrote one time he would be comming but now no more.They have done the paint job (nearly finish half of it).Just a few minutes bevore the reliance man came for the internet!
How long will you stay?On 05.04 we'll have the meeting for starting the trust,when you come I want to make the movie with you about the school,I 've prepared some interviews for the stuff who'll work there and for the children.Tomorrow I 'll go to Delhi for meeting the backery guy andstay at the parliament man for holli,I hope he can give me some help .Hope you enjoy your days ,se ya(did you get the 3 pages about the trust,how you like it?
