Should I choose a Non AC Room in November?
Should I choose a Non AC Room in November?
I will be in Varanasi November 16-19. I have really good vibes about the Kedareswar B&B, but they only have non a/c rooms available. Am I crazy to consider a non a/c room or should I look elsewhere?
I also inquired at the Ram Bhawan Kautilya Society residence, but they do not have any rooms available with private bath.
I want to be comfortable in a good location. Any suggestions?

you are fine in my opinion. I have traveled to varanasi alot (mostly during march, april, may, june) and i have never had an ac room. In november it gets cool enough at night (around 65 degrees) too that you should be fine, as long as there is a fan. have a great time!

In Northern India between mid-October and January, you can be very comfortable withoutA/C -- go for the hotel that sounds good to you!

Yes, Varanasi will be pleasant in November. Days are still hot, but comfortable for walking around. Mornings and evenings are cool. Something lightweight but with long-sleeves might be best. Enjoy this great city!
iseeking has a good point. The other issue with non a/c rooms can be outside noise. I always get a/c rooms regardless of time of year; just my personal preference.
probably the perfect way to do it! there is no wrong way just personal preference. no matter what you will enjoy the city...it is always interesting to hear different ways different people enjoy experiencing varanasi!
