New Year's and Sarnath
I'm going to be in Varanasi until next year (ie, for a few days). I was wondering if anyone knew if there's anything going on for New Year's Eve.
Also, I'm planning a day trip to Sarnath, so if anyone else is here and thinking the same, we could join forces.

'Fraid not. I'll probably be leaving Varanasi for Allahabad on 5th January.
I got in touch with someone through their travel blog, and they told me there's an event at Hotel Surya tonight, so we might be going there. |
