| Hi nice to hear that u r going to varanasi, its a very holy place , a bit dusty n crowded because of narrrow roads, especially in the old cuty side. have been there but not to the hotel where u have asked, beware of some people as they might put something in ur drinks, water etc.. & make u unconsious and rob u or try something with ur body. i am from pune maharahstra, rajesh, keep int touch till u r here in india, Quote:

| That could happen anywhere, especially in really touristy places. I have spent hundreds of wonderful hours wandering around Benares and have never hassled, beyond "Hello Postcard?" Avoid the Assi Ghat Road at night, use a Rickshaw. Also always carry a torch, There are lots of Bizlee Katoms here. Just Be Street wise, and love the best city in India!  |
