With my trip to India fast approaching I'm obviously scouring the internet for info and entertainment on the subcontinent. Of all the great videos and photos I've seen of Varanasi, this one really stands out as truly exceptional. Just thought I'd share...

Thank you for sharing. A very nice video indeed. I've watched the sun rise over the Ganges about 365 times during my two long (and one short) stay in Varanasi. Truly one of the most powerful places on Earth for me, and my favorite in India. Thanks too for the link to vimeo . . . I have a 235MB dream-piece filmed and recorded in Varanasi that's too big for youtube.
