cash machine for international withdrawal in varanasi?

HI all of you!
I'm not new to Banaras but last time, being there for a month, I had cash with me and I never had to withdraw. Do you know where i can find cash machines for international withdrawal (i've got a cirrus-maestro card)??
i will receive my poor scholarship some time after my arrival...

I'm sure there are a number of them. I carry - as I always have - only cash and TC's but did once go with someone to a bank in the Asi area, about a ten minute walk from the river, on the road to Lanka.

Lots of Cash Machines (ATMs) at Lanka, just in front of the main entrance of Banaras Hindu University.

Hi,
I had a terrible time on 1st jan 2009 in varanasi to withdraw my money from ATM's. All the state bank of india atm's were out of order. Draw the money well in advance.

I used the one in the main drag, just back from the ghats. It was maestro/cirrus.
It's certainly not a problem finding one.
