4-Hour Drive-through Visit to Varanasi - What Can I Fit In?

me and my family will be driving through the city of Varanasi during mid-May as part of a 30-day driving trip we're making across India.

we'll be reaching Varanasi at around noon from Gaya, en route to Allahabad..

we'll have to leave Varanasi for Allahabad by 4 pm which gives us about 4 hours at Varanasi including lunch.

what do you all feel would be the best way to put what little time we have to use?

Go to Sarnath.40-45 min. drive from baranasi.
